Why can’t I combine Advance tickets with Anytime or Off-peak tickets on a split ticket journey?
Advance Tickets cannot be combined with Anytime or Off-Peak tickets on a split journey due to their different rules. Anytime and Off-Peak tickets are refundable, while Advance tickets are not. To maintain flexibility, Advance tickets can only be booked with other Advance tickets, allowing them to be exchanged together.
What happens if one of my Advance split tickets isn't exchangeable?
If one of the tickets in your split booking isn't eligible for exchange (for example, if its value is lower than the £10 admin fee), this won’t affect the exchange of your other ticket (value of admin fee or more). You'll receive a new split ticket booking to replace the old one, but only the exchangeable ticket from your original booking will be refunded.
