Which ticket types are currently available with split ticketing?

  • Currently, only Anytime and Off-Peak tickets are available with split ticketing. Advance tickets will be available in a later phase of the rollout.

Which ticket collection types are currently available with split ticketing?

  • At the moment E ticket's are the only option available with split ticketing. The reason we have done this as a default is to avoid travellers having to collect multiple tickets from the Fast Ticket machine as we know this can be time consuming. Instead simply, save each leg of the ticket into your mobile wallet or show your email confirmation and ticket passes en route and you are good to go.

Can I filter the platform to remove split ticketing fare options?

  • Unfortunately not. The split ticket options will always appear but you can scroll through the options to find a standard ticket without any split ticketing

How do I exchange split tickets?

  • This is not possible at the moment as no advance tickets will be used with split ticketing

How do I refund split tickets?

  • You can click the cancel button as usual and all of the tickets will be refunded together

Can different ticket types be combined on the same journey?

  • Yes your journey could include a mix of different ticket types with different restrictions, please check your ticket details carefully

Will I have to change seats during the journey?

  • Occasionally you may need to change seats part way through your journey, please check the seat numbers on your tickets carefully.

Can London Travel Zones be included on split tickets?

  • No, this is not possible at the moment. The tickets which include London travel zones must be paper tickets to access the barriers but only E Tickets will be available in this phase of the split ticketing rollout.

This will be rolled out in a later phase.

Why does the Split Ticket Filter not show on every search?

  • The split ticket filter will only show on the filter bar if there are split tickets available for the requested journey. If no split tickets are available the filter will disappear

Can more than one split be included in a journey?

  • Unfortunately not, we can only offer one split per journey. This would be a maximum total of two tickets per journey.
