We take security very seriously and to ensure the highest possible standards we are making some changes to our platform and retiring some older security protocols.

What is TLS

SSL/TLS is what encrypts the communications between two endpoints namely your browser and Click Travel services, You may hear it referred to as simply SSL.

Why must we make this changes

TLSv1.2 was actually created and ratified over a decade ago to replace these older versions and in fact there is now an even newer version available. In order to maintain the integrity and authenticity or data it is important that we and all other websites discontinue the use of TLS 1.0 and 1.1.

Where can I learn more

This year marks the point in which all three major browsers mark the end of support for these protocols and information on these changes can be found on their own sites

When will the change occur

On Monday the 16th November 2020 support for TLSv1.0 and 1.2 will be removed and all browsers that utilise the platform will require support for 1.2 or higher

Can i test my browser

There are a few online tools available for you to confirm compatibility, the simplest is https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/viewMyClient.html.
