If you regularly travel the same train route or hotel — like a weekly commute or a trip you book every month — you can save it as a favourite journey. Favourite journeys appear at the top of the Train and Hotel search page, so you can reuse a saved route in a couple of clicks instead of typing in the stations and settings every time.
How to save a favourite journey
Go to Trains or Hotels in the left-hand menu and fill in your search as normal — Going from, Travelling to, your dates and times, and any preferences such as Railcard or Max changes, location or specific hotel.
Click Save as a favourite journey. The bookmark icon fills in to confirm the journey has been saved.
Click Search to carry on and find your train or hotel as normal.
You can save up to 6 favourite journeys. If you're already at the limit, you'll see a message telling you so — remove an existing favourite before saving a new one.
Using a saved favourite journey
Go to Trains or Hotels in the left-hand menu. Any journeys you've saved appear as cards above the search form.
Click a favourite journey card. It instantly fills in the Going from and Travelling to stations, the journey type (Return, One way or Open return), location or hotel and preferences like Railcard and Max changes.
Choose your dates ( outbound date (and return date, if applicable) — favourite journeys remember your route, times and preferences, but not a specific travel date — then click Search.
Removing a favourite journey
Go to Trains or Hotels in the left-hand menu.
Find the favourite journey card you want to remove and click the X in its corner.
The journey is removed straight away, so double-check you've picked the right card before clicking.
