We recommend starting with the a default template file and customising it with your own pivot tables or column ordering.

In Reporting, copy an existing report template to create your custom report template. Then follow these instructions to customise your template file:

1. Download your custom report template file

Your custom report template has an option to Download the template file.

Need a fresh start? Download a default report template file

If you need an unedited template file, you can download one from a default report template. Make sure to choose the right type: If your custom template is based on Travel Analysis, use the default Travel Analysis report template.

2. Edit the template file in Excel

Open your template file in Excel. Keep the RawDataRange in the RawData tab intact (but you can rearrange the columns or delete some of them if you wish). No macros allowed but feel free to add and remove tabs (except RawData, you need that one!) and customise it with pivot tables and charts.

Tip: Check out the full list of columns you can include in the Travel Analysis or Travel Billing report.

3. Upload your customised template file

When you're happy with your template, upload the template file and run your report to check everything works as you expected.
