If the mobile number stored in your ClickTravel profile matches the WhatsApp number you are contacting from, our system will automatically recognise you.
What If I Don’t Have a Mobile Number Attached to my Profile?
If you do not have a mobile number in your profile, you will receive the following automated response when attempting to contact us through WhatsApp:
“Hi there! Your number isn't recognised on our system 😞
Please let us know who you are by providing your email address, and company name.”
and when you’ve provided this information…
“Thanks for providing this information! Please update your ClickTravel profile with your mobile number - it should be the same number as your WhatsApp number.”
…and then hands you to our AI Travel Assistant, who can help you update your ClickTravel profile with a mobile number. If you still require assistance, you’ll be passed through to a human who can help walk you through the steps.
Once it’s updated, you can try contacting us again through rescanning the WhatsApp code.
How Will My WhatsApp Conversation Work?
Once you scan the WhatsApp QR code, your WhatsApp application will open on your phone and take you to a conversation with ClickTravel. In your first message, be sure to include as much information as possible, such as the travel type and what you’d like help with.
The system routes your message to our AI Travel Assistant.
Our AI Travel Assistant will attempt to assist you. You can bypass this at any point by selecting ‘Talk to a person’.
Our Travel Assistant will determine the issue based on the conversation and assign the chat to the appropriate live chat team.
You’ll be through to our support team just like usual, who can assist you with your query.
What Response Times Can Be Expected On WhatsApp?
Currently, all WhatsApp conversations will come through to our Live Chat team - you can expect the same level of support, and response times, as you currently receive on Live Chats.

This will occur only when you have not responded in 24 hours, and the agent is requesting to send you some new information or an update. This is a rule of WhatsApp’s to prevent businesses from spamming customers with messages. You can select ‘No’ to hear no more about that conversation if you so wish.
