How to Book an Airbnb with Click Travel

Details of the First Time Booking Checklist required for Airbnb and what we need to process your Airbnb booking

Accessing Airbnb on Click Travel

If your company policy allows Airbnb bookings, you will see the Airbnb tile on your Click Travel homepage alongside other travel options.

First-Time Booking Checklist

If this is your first time booking an Airbnb through Click Travel, follow these steps before sending your request:

✅ 1. Ensure the Traveller Has an Airbnb Account

  • At least one traveller must have an Airbnb account.

  • If none of the travellers have an account, they need to create one at Airbnb.com before booking.

✅ 2. Verify the Airbnb Account

  • The traveller's Airbnb account must be verified to avoid booking issues.

  • Follow the verification steps here

  • To verify your account with Airbnb you will be required to verify your identity

✅ 3. Authorise Click Travel to Book for You

To allow Click Travel to book on your behalf:

  • Click Send request.

  • Click Travel will handle the rest!

✅ 4. Submit Your Booking Request

Once the setup steps above are complete:

  1. Go to the Click Travel homepage

  2. Select the Airbnb Booking tile

  3. Confirm that the traveller has completed the first-time setup steps

  4. Complete the booking request form

  5. Include the Airbnb property URL where possible

  6. Include as much additional information as possible (cost centres, project codes)

  7. Click Submit Request

Your request will then be sent to a Click Travel agent for processing.

If you request contact before booking, or if there are any issues with the property, our agents will get in touch.

To avoid delays, we recommend including an alternative property option in case your preferred Airbnb is unavailable.


Airbnb FAQs

Are all Airbnb properties available through Click Travel?

Yes. All Airbnb listings are available to book through Click Travel, subject only to your company travel policy restrictions.


Can I book long-term Airbnb stays?

Yes. Airbnb bookings through Click Travel can exceed 28 days, making them ideal for:

  • Extended business trips

  • Remote working

  • Relocations

  • Long-term project assignments


Are there any restrictions on the length of stay?

Some locations may have restrictions due to:

  • Local laws

  • Country-specific regulations

  • Host policies

Please review the listing details carefully before booking extended stays.


How will travellers receive check-in instructions?

Check-in instructions are provided directly by the Airbnb host through Airbnb messaging.

To ensure smooth communication, travellers must provide the email address linked to their Airbnb account to the Click Travel Customer Care team.

Travel bookers may also join the reservation as an additional guest using their own Airbnb profile if required.


What happens if a host asks me to sign a contract?

Any agreements between the host and guest must be handled within the Airbnb messaging platform.

Hosts should clearly disclose any contractual requirements within the property listing before booking.

Important:

Never sign agreements or make payments outside of the Airbnb platform.


Who provides support for Airbnb bookings?

Click Travel provides:

  • Booking support

  • Amendments

  • Cancellation assistance

  • First-line customer support

Please note:

  • Click Travel does not manage check-in instructions

  • Click Travel cannot manage special requests handled directly through Airbnb messaging


Do all travellers need to be registered on Click Travel?

No.

For bookings with multiple guests:

  • The main traveller must be registered on both Click Travel and Airbnb

  • Additional guests do not need Click Travel accounts


Can names be changed on Airbnb bookings?

No. Airbnb bookings are non-transferable.

If the traveller changes, the original booking must be cancelled and a new booking created.


Are deposits required for Airbnb bookings?

Some Airbnb hosts may request deposits or additional fees, such as cleaning fees.

Where applicable:

  • These charges are included within the Airbnb reservation total

  • Click Travel can usually cover these costs as part of the booking

Hosts must not request payment through external websites or links.

Any host attempting to do so is in breach of Airbnb policy and may be reported.


What if I’m having trouble creating or verifying my Airbnb account?

For account setup or verification support, please contact Airbnb directly or visit the Airbnb Help Centre.

Airbnb manages all customer accounts and verification processes directly.


How are damages or accidents handled?

Damage claims are managed directly between the Airbnb guest and host through Airbnb’s Resolution Centre.

Click Travel does not have access to the Resolution Centre.

If a host needs to recover costs, they may:

  • Submit a reservation price alteration

  • Request payment directly from the guest through Airbnb


Can Click Travel see personal details on my Airbnb profile?

No.

Click Travel can only view:

  • Your Airbnb profile image

  • Messages exchanged within the Airbnb message thread

Travellers can also view messages sent by Click Travel to the host.


How do Airbnb refunds work?

Refunds for cancelled Airbnb reservations are not processed immediately.

Refund timelines can vary depending on:

  • The host’s cancellation policy

  • The cancellation date

  • Airbnb processing times

  • Other booking conditions

In some cases, refunds may take up to two months to complete.

We recommend reviewing the property cancellation policy before booking to understand refund eligibility and timelines.
